Schedule of events for the region’s festivals

With four major festivals in Centre County this week, there’s a lot of entertainment and activities to chose from. Below is a list of Thursday’s events at the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts in State College, The People’s Choice Festival in Boalsburg, the Philipsburg Heritage Days in Philipsburg and the Remington Ryde Bluegrass Festival on the Grange Fairgrounds in Centre Hall.

1-8 p.m.: Children’s book authors Richard Kopley, Susan Smith and Mary Beth Bamat telling stories and signing books, Holt Memorial Library
