Penn State women’s basketball: Green drafted by Korean team

Former Penn State center Nikki Greene was one of 10 Americans selected in the Korean WKBL Foreigner Draft, chosen by the Samsung Life Blue Minx.

The Korean WKBL allows two foreigners on each roster, with the season running Nov. 10-April 7. The Minx also picked Ashley Robinson of the Seattle Storm and University of Tennessee.

Greene was chosen by the Phoenix Mercury 26th overall in the WNBA draft but did not make the team after finishing her Lady Lion career with 1,132 points, 994 rebounds and 215 blocks for her career.
