Centre County Baseball League playoffs: Howard, Lewistown suspended by darkness tied 12-12

From CDT staff reportsJuly 19, 2013

— The Lewistown Predators and Howard Hawks will have to wait to conclude what is turning in to a wild Game 3 after darkness fell over Lewistown’s field with the teams tied on Thursday.

Lewistown’s Morgan Barger spoiled Howard’s evening when he capped a six-run bottom of the seventh with a two-run home run to tie the game and force extras. The two squads got in just one inning before darkness forced a postponement.

They’ll resume on Friday and try to break the 1-1 series tie as well with Howard hitting in the top of the ninth.
