Gardner’s Candies in Tyrone robbed

Police are investigating an armed robbery at Gardner’s Candies in Tyrone.

Police said that at about 4 p.m. Monday, a man showed a knife and left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is described as white, in his late 20s, with dark hair and facial hair. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a blue and white checkered long-sleeved shirt and was carrying a bag.

The same man might have been seen sitting outside the store around 8:45 p.m. Sunday wearing the same clothing.
