Letter to the editor | Signs speak for many

July 24, 2013

Regarding the signs left at the former site of the Joe Paterno statue, I am a Penn State alumna who had to watch the entire mess play out on TV, knowing that I wasn’t getting all of the facts of the stories, just the opinions of the press.

The fact that those signs were left speaks volumes about how most of the world feels about this whole thing.

We know Paterno was treated unfairly.

Why is it so hard for others to see that?

My thanks to the anonymous people who left the messages. They speak for me, and they speak with class.
