— A driver had a seizure, and her Ford Fusion crossed four lanes of traffic, hit another vehicle before striking the corner of a house at North Atherton Street and Arbor Way on Monday afternoon, officials said.

There were no injuries in the accident, but the driver of the Fusion was taken by ambulance for a medical evaluation after the seizure, State College Lt. Keith Robb said on the scene. She was conscious when police arrived after they took the call at 3:49 p.m.

The Fusion was traveling north on North Atherton Street at the time of the medical emergency. When the vehicle crossed the median, it hit a Chrysler PT Cruiser, which was traveling south. There was severe damage to both vehicles, and both were towed from the scene.

There was no immediate damage estimate to the house.

Other emergency responders included Alpha Fire Company and Centre LifeLink EMS.
