Huntingdon state police investigate matching burglaries involving pain pills

From CDT staff reportsAugust 8, 2013

— State police are investigating two Huntingdon County cases of burglary involving pain pills, the same victim and matching suspect descriptions, Trooper Jeffrey Hahn reported Thursday.

Police said a home on Redstone Ridge Road in Penn Township was entered three times between July 24 and Wednesday, and each time pain pills were taken.

Also, police said a motor home parked at the Huntingdon County Fair was burglarized Tuesday between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. Again, pain pills were missing, police said.

In each case, a suspect has been identified and described as a 44-year-old white man. And in both cases, the victim was identified as the same 70-year-old Hesston man.

The investigations continue.
