Warriors Mark Township man charged with assault, harassment following domestic altercation

— A Huntingdon County man was charged with simple assault and harassment after a domestic altercation early Sunday, state police at Huntingdon said.

Jesse Mohar, 33, was arrested and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Richard S. Wilt. He was taken to Huntingdon County prison.

Police said Mohar was involved in a verbal and physical altercation with a woman at about 1 a.m. Sunday. Afterward, the woman had injuries to her back, arm and head, and was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center by a friend, police said.

Police interviewed the woman at the hospital.

Mohar was located near State College and taken into custody, police said.
