High school tennis: State College tennis keeps winning streak alive with victory over Northern York

— State College has yet to drop a set this girls’ tennis season.

The Lady Little Lions took their second consecutive sweep with a 5-0 romp against Northern York on Wednesday.

Cathy Budding (6-4, 6-1) and Juliette Greer (7-5, 6-0) won in straight sets in singles. No. 3 Caroline Whitman led 3-2 when her opponent retired.

The doubles team of Caitlin McGlaughlin/Amy Poissant (6-4, 6-0) and Elizabeth Easterling/Tatum Stauffer (6-0, 6-2) each cruised to triumphs.

State College plays at Cumberland Valley on Monday.
