Police say Osceola Mills teen stabbed mother during argument

— An 18-year-old from Osceola Mills has been charged with aggravated assault for allegedly stabbing his mother during an argument.

State police at Clearfield say Tyler Lee Rumbaugh stabbed his mother, Vicky Ann Rumbaugh, 45, in the left upper arm during a dispute at a home on Curtin Street.

The incident was reported just before 10 a.m. Wednesday.

In a news release Thursday, police did not say what type of instrument was used in the stabbing, or the extent of Vicky Rumbaugh’s injury.

State police at Philipsburg assisted at the scene.
