High school golf: Bellefonte splits at tri-meet

— Daniel Zimmerman and Zack Mothersbaugh both broke 100, but Bellefonte finished second to Clearfield in a tri meet with Philipsburg-Osceola on Thursday at Curwensville Country Club.

Zimmerman fired a 93 and Mothersbaugh carded a 98 for the Red Raiders, who had a 400 team total in their first matches of the fall season.

Clearfield, behind medalist Corey Maines’ 88, posted a 357 team total.

P-O was paced by a 97 from Carter Fischer as the Mounties collected a 424 team total.
