Penn State police: Fake $20 bill used at Mackinnon’s Cafe

Penn State police said a fake $20 bill was used in an on-campus eatery sometime Wednesday.

Police said someone paid with the fake bill at Mackinnon’s Café sometime while it was open from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The counterfeit bill was turned over to police by a housing and food services manager.

Police don’t have any suspects, and the case is being investigated.
