Police get report of man selling crack outside State College store

— Borough police received a report Thursday that a man was selling crack cocaine in front of a downtown store.

The call came into dispatchers around 5:10 p.m., and the reported seller was described as a black man in his 40s with a small goatee. Police said the incident was reported to have happened in front of McClanahan’s, 414 E. College Ave.

There was no word on who reported it.

Police said the man wasn’t there when they arrived and the case is closed.
