High school volleyball: Bald Eagle Area falls in opener

Bald Eagle Area played a marathon before dropping its season-opener Friday in five sets to Dallastown, 25-15, 18-25, 14-25, 25-8, 15-13.

Nicole Doroschenko put up some solid numbers in the opener with 15 kills, six service aces and three blocks. Tylor Yarrison added eight kills, Kiki Miller posted four blocks while Chelsea Eisenhuth made three, Jess Bressler had 38 assists and six kills and Regan Dyke made 15 digs.

The Lady Eagles head to Northern Cambria’s Tournament on Saturday.
