Girls’ soccer: State College falls in opener

— Robin Derr and Victoria Crawford each had a goal and an assist, but State College fell to the defending PIAA Class AAA champions 3-2 in the Lady Little Lions’ season opener Saturday afternoon.

Derr scored with help from Crawford in teh 15th minute, and the combination was reversed just over three minutes into the second half. All three Indians goals were netted in the first half.

State College outshot Peters 10-9, and Caitlyn Fosnacht made three saves in the loss.
