The Sports NetworkSeptember 3, 2013

If you're a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles or Washington Redskins, good news: The season will start earlier than planned.

Fifteen minutes earlier.

The NFL and ESPN, which broadcasts "Monday Night Football," moved kickoff for next Monday's season-opener between the NFC East rivals from 7:10 p.m. ET to 6:55 p.m., the league announced Tuesday.

No reason was given for the move.
