Authorities in Clearfield County are looking for a Rush Township man who didn’t show up for a court proceeding earlier this year.

Clearfield County District Attorney William Shaw Jr. said Coty Goss, 27, of Loch Lomond Road, is wanted on misdemeanor counts of theft and receiving stolen property. Goss was charged in October after police in Lawrence Township, Clearfield County, accused him of stealing metal from a business where he previously had worked.

Shaw said Goss’s case was held for court after a preliminary hearing in December, but a warrant was issued for his arrest when Goss failed to show up for a court proceeding April 25.

Goss is described as white, standing 5-foot-8, with blue eyes and blonde hair.

Authorities ask anyone who knows where Goss is to call Clearfield County Crime Stoppers at 800-376-4700. Calls are confidential.
