From CDT staff reportsSeptember 4, 2013

— An 18-year-old passenger was taken to Lock Haven Hospital after a crash Tuesday on Snydertown Road that also injured the 17-year-old driver.

State police at Rockview said Kimberlee J. Brininger, 17, of Howard, failed to negotiate a turn while driving east on Snydertown Road near Hoy Road at 5:40 p.m. Her 1997 Subaru Impreza went off the right berm, then spun back across the road and hit a parked car, police said.

Both Brininger and passenger William C. Kitchen III, 18, of Mill Hall, suffered what police called minor injuries. Kitchen was taken to the hospital for treatment.

No other details of their injuries were reported. Both were wearing seatbelts.

Assisting at the scene were Walker Township Fire Company and Goodwill EMS, police said.
