High school soccer: Raiders race past Rams

From CDT staff reportsSeptember 6, 2013

— Bellefonte scored four first-half goals and cruised past Penns Valley 6-2 Thursday night.

Andrew Stover led the Red Raiders (2-2) with two goals and three assists while Grant Stone also had a pair of goals. Eyed Ghoname and Jake Mann had first-half goals, along with one each for Stone and Stover, to build the big margin by halftime.

“We came out with a lot of intensity tonight,” Raiders coach Scott Martz said. “The game before we looked really lazy. Andrew Stover had a really good game for us and was all over the field too. As a team, it is probably our best game of the year.”

John Stapham and Ben Curran netted the goals for the Rams
