Penn State men’s soccer: Rutgers thumps Nittany Lions

— Mael Borboz scored a pair of second half goals to lead the Rutgers to a 4-1 romp over previously unbeaten Penn State on Friday night.

Rutgers (1-1-1) took a 3-0 lead before Martin Seiler scored the lone goal for the Nittany Lions, his first in a Penn State uniform.

Kene Ezeand Ross Tetro also scored for the Scarlet Knights.

Andrew Wolverton had three saves for the Nittany Lions, who were outshot 13-11.

Penn State (2-1-0) next travels to No. 23 St. John’s on Sunday.
