N.Y. woman sentenced for role in drug ring

— A New York woman charged in connection with a half-million-dollar heroin and cocaine ring in Centre County will spend the next two years in a state prison.

Tiffany Malloy, 21, was sentenced Friday in county court. She also received three years’ probation from Judge Jonathan Grine.

Malloy was one of nine people in a drug ring charged by authorities from the Attorney General’s Office. The main target, authorities have said, was 34-year-old Elijah Moorer, of Pleasant Gap, who is awaiting trial.
