Charges possible against trio in fight

From CDT staff reportsSeptember 8, 2013

Three men may be charged after a fight broke out early Saturday morning near the 400 block of East Calder Way.

State College Lt. Mark Argiro said police were dispatched to the scene of a street fight around 2:22 a.m. Saturday in which two men allegedly started a fight with a 34-year-old State College man.

Argiro said the verbal altercation turned physical between the 34-year-old and two male relatives — a 22-year-old male Penn State student and his cousin, a 24-year-old Bethlehem man.

Argiro said the 22-year-old suffered a broken nose, while his cousin had a cut on his face and elbow. The 34-year-old man reported a left hand injury.

Police are still investigating the incident.
