Girls’ soccer: State College falls in 2OT to Carlisle

— Kirstyn Sokolsky scored with three minutes left in the second overtime period to give Carlisle a 3-2 girls’ soccer win Saturday night and keep State College winless on the young season.

Taylor Campbell netted both goals for the Lady Little Lions (0-3) after Michaela Coplen had spotted the Thundering Herd a 2-0 lead with goals in the contest’s first 14 minutes.

State College outshot Carlisle 18-7, and Lauren Anderson made just two saves in the loss. Jessica Kuhn stopped seven shots for the Herd.
