The Park Forest swimming pool went to the dogs Sunday — literally.
As the last day before work crews drained the pool, local dogs were allowed to take a plunge in the water for the annual Aqua Dog Day event from 1-4.
For once, only dogs were allowed in the pool — no people.
The park will again open in the spring.
