Police: Nine individuals cited after ruckus on Monument Orviston Bridge

— Nine individuals were cited Sunday following an altercation just after 8 p.m. on Monument Orviston Bridge, police reported.

State police at Lamar said two people, Kelly Richner, 45, and Lacey Richner, 22, both of Howard, were cited for harassment for throwing punches during the ruckus.

The other seven individuals were cited for disorderly conduct after “engaging in fighting/violent/tumultuous behavior and causing a public inconvenience by blocking a public roadway,” police said.

Cited for disorderly conduct were: Jason Young, 36, of Beech Creek; Jesse Parker, 18, of Beech Creek; Dalton Richner, 18, of Howard; Blaine Smith, 20, of Beech Creek; Robert Parker, 19, of Beech Creek; Levi Confer, 18, of Beech Creek; and an unidentified 17-year-old from Beech Creek.

Police reported no details about what prompted the disturbance.
