September 11, 2013

— St. Joseph Catholic Academy’s Garrett Bastardi shot a meet-best 2-over 75, but Central Mountain (371) walked away with the overall team victory Tuesday at Clinton Country Club.

“He’s been playing great all summer,” said Wolves’ head coach John Muto of Bastardi. “He had three birdies on a hot day, on a tough course.”

The Wolves shot a team score of 384 to finish second in the three-team match. Philipsburg-Osceola posted a 458.

Nick Shearer shot 100 for St. Joseph’s. Carter Fischer led the way for the Mounties with a round of 97.
