Port Matilda man severely injured in Huston Township crash

A Port Matilda man was severely injured in a one-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Huston Township.

Andrew Tressler was driving a 2006 Ford F-350 on Silverdale Road when he lost control of the vehicle around a curve.

The truck ran into a ditch and crashed into a tree on the driver’s side. A front-seat passenger suffered minor injuries, while Tressler suffered severe injuries and was taken by helicopter to a hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, police said.

Charges are pending as the investigation continues, police said.
