Scholastic girls’ soccer: Crawfords lead State College to win

— Sisters Victoria and Haley Crawford helped State College fill the nets after halftime in a 3-0 win Saturday afternoon at Red Land.

The Lady Little Lions (3-3), who have rebounded from a 0-3 start to the season, were outshot 9-7 by the Patriots and got four saves from Lauren Anderson for the shutout.

Victoria Crawford, a senior, had the opening goal 9:50 into the second half with an assist from her sister, a sophomore. Haley and Victoria Crawford then padded the lead with goals in the final 10 minutes. Rachel Chambers and Megan Reid assisted on the late goals.
