Man allegedly wreaks havoc at Five Guys

From CDT staff reportsSeptember 21, 2013

State College police had to pepper spray a 21-year-old man to detain him late Friday night after he allegedly caused trouble at Five Guys, 226 W. College Ave.

Police said Michael Ward was charged with felony trespassing.

Police said Ward had entered the restaurant around 11:40 p.m. while staffers were closing up and became disorderly with them.

Ward reportedly damaged items, stood behind the employee counter and began yelling at staff.

Police said Ward then became combative with three patrol officers who had to use pepper spray to get him to comply with police orders.

Ward was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for apparent intoxication and was later arraigned.
