Brown — Howard R. Brown, 84 years old, of Houtzdale, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at Mt. Laurel Nursing & Rehab. Center, Clearfield. The Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills, is in charge of arrangements. Online guest book at


Paul — Boyd E. Paul, 87, of Snow Shoe, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at his home. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 5, 2013, from 9-11 a.m. with a Lions Club Memorial Service at 10:45am at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 106 W. Sycamore St., Snow Shoe. Memorial service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation can be made to the Clearfield Hospice, P.O. Harman — Robert E. "Bob" Harman, age 85, of State College, died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at his residence. Arrangements will be announced when completed by Koch Funeral Home, State College.


Rhodes — Reba B. Rhodes, age 93, of Tyrone and a guest at Epworth Manor died Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Manor. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11 AM at the First English Lutheran Church with Reverend Ralph Hamer officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park. Visitation at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM and on Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM at the church.
