Penn State men’s soccer: Wadid earns 2 honors

September 24, 2013

Penn State’s Mark Wadid was named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, and also earned a spot on College Soccer News’ Team of the Week.

The freshman accounted for all of the Nittany Lions’ scoring in 1-0 wins last week against Robert Morris and Duquesne. Wadid has three goals this season — all game winners.

Wadid shared the Big Ten honor with Northwestern’s Chris Ritter.

Penn State (4-2-1) visits West Virginia on Wednesday.
