Police investigating report of teen buying pill at Grange Fair

From CDT staff reportsSeptember 25, 2013

State police are investigating a mother’s report that her daughter bought a pill during the Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair last month and did not immediately wake up the next morning.

Police said the 15-year-old girl bought the pill, which had white powder in it, from a man at the basketball courts on the fairgrounds on Aug. 24. The only identifying information police have about the seller is that he is white.

Police said the girl experienced a reaction similar to one that would result from using bath salts.
