Police: Williamsport man killed in I-80 crash involving two tractor-trailers

— Police have identified the individual killed in Thursday’s truck crash on Interstate 80 as Lee Gray, 61, of Williamsport.

All lanes are open as of Friday morning, police said.

State police at Rockview said a westbound tractor-trailer was rear-ended by another tractor-trailer at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday near mile-marker 168.

Police did not say which truck Gray was in, or provide condition reports on any other people involved.

After the crash, the westbound lanes of the road were closed from exit 173 (Lamar) to exit 161 (Bellefonte). Traffic was being detoured using state Route 64.

The left lane of eastbound I-80 also was closed, in the same area, while the right eastbound lane remained open.

Several Clinton County fire departments responded to the accident, as did state police from the Rockview and Lamar barracks, according to the Clinton County Department of Emergency Services. Rockview state police are investigating
