Girls volleyball: Bald Eagle Area sweeps Central Mountain

— Jessica Bressler dished out 22 assists and added five kills and three aces to lead Bald Eagle Area to a 25-18, 25-19, 25-14 victory over Central Mountain on Monday.

Tylor Yarrison led the led the Lady Eagles (6-4 overall, 5-2 Mountain League) with 12 digs and four aces. Nicole Doroschenko notched 10 kills and Chelsea Eisenhuth had four blocks. Regan Dyke added six digs and Courtney Fisher blocked two shots.

Despite the sweep, BEA coach Larry Campbell said his team needs to play better. “We were pretty sloppy tonight,” Campbell said. “We didn’t serve and pass well until the final set. ... Those are the kinds of things that are going to cost us down the road.”
