Girls soccer: Penns Valley earns shutout

From CDT staff reportsOctober 3, 2013

— Destiny Andrus scored the only goal of the game as Penns Valley left Central with a 1-0 win Wednesday.

Valerie Kubalak set up Andrus 30 minutes into the game forthe score, while Kylie Orndorf made five saves for the shutout for the Lady Rams (4-8-1).

“I’m always happy to get out of Central with a win as it is very difficult to play good soccer on their hard and rough little field,” Lady Rams coach Jeff Smucker said. “Our defense played well to earn the shutout.”
