Penn State basketball: Nittany Lions’ TV slate set

From CDT staff reportsOctober 3, 2013

With at least 22 television appearances, including all 18 Big Ten games, Penn State will be getting plenty of national exposure this season.

The start of the conference season on New Year’s Eve — facing Michigan State at 5 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center — leads off the Big Ten’s slate, with at least nine more contests to follow on BTN. Penn State’s game against Wisconsin on March 2, will be either on BTN or CBS.

The Nittany Lions also will appear on ESPN networks 10 times, including seven conference meetings.

BTN also will show several non-conference games, including the Nittany Lions’ game against Princeton on Dec. 14 at Rec Hall. Non-conference matchups with Monmouth and Mount St. Mary’s in the Barclays Classic also will be on BTN.

Penn State’s games at the Barclays Center in the Barclays Classic, against St. John’s and either Georgia Tech or Mississippi, have not yet been set.

Penn State will hold a Blue-White Scrimmage at the Bryce Jordan Center on Oct. 12, with doors opening at 10 a.m.
