Letter to the editor | Silence is not an option

October 3, 2013

I read with interest the article in the Sept. 20 CDT concerning Anthony Lubrano and the Penn State trustees.

What I got out of that article was the trustees telling Lubrano to keep his mouth shut, as it might damage the Penn State image, as well as the trustees.

Now, I am no lawyer or brain surgeon, but keeping one’s mouth shut is what got Penn State in this mess to begin with.

The Penn State almighties should open up and let the truth be told in all aspects of governing the university. There is no way the athletes should have to pay the price for their ineffectiveness.

While I’m at it, put back that wall!
