PARK RIDGE, Ill. — Penn State’s Micha Hancock was named Big Ten Setter of the Week on Monday after leading the No. 4 Nittany Lions to victories over Indiana and Purdue on the road last week.
The junior picked up a weekly conference honor for the first time this season and 11th time for her career.
She had 38 assists, four aces, seven digs, four blocks and three kills while leading the Nittany Lions to a .507 hitting night against the Hoosiers in a 3-0 sweep. She had 45 assists, 13 digs and two aces in a 3-2 victory over the No. 20 Boilermakers.
Penn State hosts No. 11 Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rec Hall.
