Our View | Thumbs for Tuesday

October 8, 2013

Thumbs up: To Galen Mellott, who recently donated his 1940 Ford coupe to his alma mater, the Pennsylvania College of Technology. The donation gives students in the automotive restoration program the opportunity to restore the now-classic car.

Thumbs up: To the Food Bank of the State College Area, which, according to Executive Director Carol Pioli, will be able to “better serve our community” at a new location on South Atherton Street. The food bank will move from West Hamilton Avenue in the spring, Pioli said.

Thumbs down: To Congress.
