Next State College neighborhood planning meetings set

From CDT staff reportsOctober 11, 2013

State College residents are invited to attend one of three upcoming Planning Commission meetings to review recommendations drafted for the borough’s Neighborhood Plan.

The meetings are not specific to the neighborhoods in which they are located. All residents are welcome, and it is not necessary to attend all three.

The meetings will take place Tuesday in Harkins Hall at Grace Lutheran Church, 205 S. Garner St.; Tuesday, Oct. 29 in the activities center at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 820 Westerly Parkway; and Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Catholic Student Faith Center, 113 E. Park Ave.

All meetings start at 7 p.m.

The commission previously held meetings in each neighborhood to take feedback from residents about the positive aspects and challenges of each, as part of borough-wide plan. For more information, contact planning staff at mailto: planningdept@statecollegepa.us or 234-7109.
