Work continues on Whitehall Road

From CDT staff reportsOctober 11, 2013

Work on the state Department of Transportation Whitehall Road widening project next week will include traffic signal installation at Waupelani Drive, and concrete curb and sidewalk placement between College Avenue and Waupelani.

Drivers should be alert for bicyclists and for crews directing traffic between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The PennDOT project covers three miles, between South Atherton Street and West College Avenue. Ferguson Township is working on a similar project between West College and Tadpole Road. Both projects are expected to be complete by the end of the year.
