From CDT staff reportsOctober 11, 2013

Two men, including one from State College, face drug charges after police found two pounds of synthetic marijuana and 148 individual packets of suspected heroin during a traffic stop Tuesday.

State police at Rockview said Charles A. Jones, 20, of State College, and Scott E. McCliment, 21, of Morrisdale, were arrested and two others face possible charges in the case.

The men were traveling from State College to Philipsburg when their vehicle was stopped for traffic violations along Route 322. Police detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and obtained a search warrant.

Police said they later obtained a search warrant for Jones and McCliment’s home on Easterly Parkway in State College and found more synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
