The Ubiquitous Camera Phone

Camera phones as seen by their lights

— I happen to have had a great seat for BB King's show at the Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday. While it was not the best seat for taking photos of King with my iPhone, it was a good seat for taking photos of members of the audience taking photos.

The camera phones are not that good compared to a DSLR, but they are great when they're the only camera you have. And, of course, BJC forbids cameras with detachable lenses so that makes the camera phone the default.

I like to say that Sheetz is ubiquitous, but after last night, camera phones at concerts take a close second.
