Police investigating theft of lion heads

State police in Rockview are investigating the theft of two concrete lion head statues from a Gregg Township home.

The statues, two 3-foot-tall concrete lion heads finished in marble, were stolen from the end of Cynthia Sweeley’s driveway on Harter Road in Gregg Township, between Oct. 14 and 15, police said.

The statues are valued at $500 each, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Rockview.
