UNIVERSITY PARK — The Penn State wrestling team has announced three dual meet time changes due to national television broadcast requests.
Penn State’s season opener at Rider on Nov. 16, will now begin at 4 p.m. to allow for a live national broadcast on Comcast SportsNet. The dual was originally to start at 6 p.m.
Two of Penn State’s Big Ten duals have also had their times switched. Penn State’s home dual against Ohio State on Dec. 15 will begin at noon in Rec Hall. The Nittany Lions’ matchup at Michigan will start at 3:30 p.m. instead of 2 p.m. on Feb. 2. The networks to televise those events have not been announced.
Penn State said that additional live TV dates are confirmed and possible time changes for more broadcasts are possible.The university said it will release its full television schedule soon.
