From CDT staff reportsOctober 24, 2013

— Bald Eagle bounced back from a rough first set to sweep the next three in a 21-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-12 victory over Central Mountain in its regular-season finale on Wednesday.

Nicole Doroshenko had a big night for the Lady Eagles (13-5) with 12 kills, four blocks and 12 digs. Jessica Bressler led the squad with four aces and 25 assists. Tylor Yarrison had 15 digs and six kills. Chelsea Eisenhuth added four blocks and Regan Dyke had 14 digs.

BEA coach Larry Campbell said his squad overcame a flat start and numerous service errors to lead throughout the final three sets. “It’s good to get a win,” Campbell said. “That’s six straight heading into the postseason.”

The Lady Eagles will await the announcement of the District 6 Class AA playoff pairings later this week.
