Troupe presents “A Celebration of Celebrations” show in November

October 25, 2013

The For Good performance troupe, a local theatrical company that features actors with Down syndrome, will hold two free performances of its fall musical next month.

On Nov. 9 and Nov. 23, cast members will perform “A Celebration of Celebrations,” singing songs in honor of several special days, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and the Fourth of July. Show times are noon for the first performance and 3 p.m. for the second. Both performances will be at the Fairmount School auditorium on West Fairmount Avenue in State College.

As is the troupe’s custom, community performers with musical theater experience will accompany cast members during the show. For Good is co-sponsored by the Centre County Down Syndrome Society and the Delta Program of the State College Area School District. For more information, visit
