Vick listed as probable for Sunday

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the New York Giants.

Vick missed the past two games with a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 5 against the Giants. He was a full participant in practice all week.

Reports earlier this week had indicated that Vick would be the starter for Sunday, especially with Nick Foles sidelined because of a concussion. Foles took over for Vick three weeks ago and had started the past two games before leaving last Sunday's contest against Dallas.

Foles sat out practice all week and will not play Sunday. Matt Barkley will be the likely backup for Vick against the Giants. The rookie threw a trio of interceptions after replacing Foles in last Sunday's 17-3 loss to the Cowboys.

Vick, who was hesitant to discuss his status during the week, has thrown for 1,185 yards and has completed 53.8 percent of his passes with five touchdowns and two interceptions this season.

Also listed as out for Sunday is linebacker Jake Knott, while safety Patrick Chung (shoulder) and defensive end Cedric Thornton (knee) are questionable despite being full participants in Friday's practice.
