Dog reported stolen from Philipsburg residence

State police are looking for a dog that was taken from a Philispburg residence either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

The 15-year-old dog named Misty is described as a 60-pound Collie/Shepherd mix with long blond hair and a graying face. The dog was last seen wearing a blue collar. Police said the dog was taken by unknown people when it was tied outside the Hampton Street residence.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police at Philispburg at 342-3370.
