Police: Beech Creek man facing theft charge after stealing 2,000-pound bridge frame

October 28, 2013

A Clinton County man will be charged with theft after state police said he stole a washed out, 2,000-pound aluminum bridge frame from a property in Beech Creek Township.

Andre Stover, 44, of Beech Creek, dug the bridge frame from a stream bed and dragged it to his property with a skid-steer loader sometime in the afternoon of Oct. 20, state police in Lamar said.

Police said the bridge frame measured 25 feet by 5 feet. The frame was taken from the property of Ronald Miller, 64.

Police said the charges will be filed through the district court in Mill Hall.
